14 centuries a go, a phenomenon began to take shape in the deserts of Arabia. A phenomenon that would sweep the Arabian continent and bring about many wonderful changes to the pagan Arab lifestyle of that time.

The same phenomenon that is today the fastest growing and the second largest religion in the world.

Its name was Islam and it was spread by the final Prophet of God: Muhammad (pbuh) via the teachings of the final testament: Al-Qur’an. Regarding Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) the Qur’an says:

"And We have not sent you except as a mercy to mankind." [TMQ 21:107]

Throughout his lifetime, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) suffered both mentally and physically at the hands of the pagan Arabs who tried to fight off his message for no reason other than power, greed and arrogance. He (pbuh) was sworn at, laughed at and even physically beaten up. However, none of this deterred him from his ultimate mission which was to guide mankind out of darkness of disbelief and in to the light of Islam.
